In order for our children to learn about and respect their local history, different cultures, and to develop an understanding and appreciation of art, we ensure that the curriculum provides visits to the all of the following: The Liverpool Walker Art Gallery, both Liverpool Cathedrals, religious buildings from other cultures e.g. The Hindu Temple, The Liverpool Maritime Museum, The Museum of Liverpool and The World Museum. These trips form part of our enriched, broad and balanced curriculum and are aimed at enhancing our children’s spiritual, moral, social and cultural development in their own city which was ‘The Capital of Culture’ 2008. We want our children to value their heritage and experience what their city has to offer.
